I remember liking Barcelona in high school, but I really loved Spain the second go-around! Spain is FULL of beautiful cities, friendly people and the best sangria! 😍 I truly believe you could spend a month exploring Spain and barely scratch the surface of what it has to offer!

A day trip to Segovia
Our original itinerary did not include Segovia. With a little research at dinner on our second night, we found a little town close to Madrid called Segovia and decided to head there the next day. It was such a beautiful city and a fantastic addition to our trip! When you explore Spain, I definitely recommend adding Segovia to the list!
