Join us! We love helping people explore the world! We are especially passionate about helping full-time workers see the world! We’ve maintained a balance between our full-time “regular jobs” and travel since 2017 and want to help you do the same! However, everyone is invited; full-time workers or not! Anyone who is wanting to travel, but doesn’t have anyone to travel with or anyone who simply wants to experience the fun of traveling with a small group is more than welcome to join as well!

We haven’t experienced Egypt yet, so come and see it for the very first time with us! We will start in Cairo, exploring the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, visit the Nubian Village with a traditional dinner, sail down the Nile on a traditional felucca, and explore the Valley of the Kings.
What are we going to do?!
Day 1
- Welcome dinner included to meet your travel group for the week
- Visit the Khan al-Khalili Bazaar. This traditional souk is a labyrinth of narrow alleys lined with local merchants; a perfect place to get introduced to daily Egyptian life.
Day 2
- Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx
- The Egyptian Museum
- Overnight train to Aswan
Day 3
- Free day to explore the city of Aswan
- Dinner will be provided in a nearby village by a local Nubian family
day 4
- Free day to take a day trip from Aswan to either:
- Abu Simbel- Four large statues of Ramses guarding the Great Temple, carved directly out of the mountain on the west bank of the Nile
- Or a sailboat tour to Kitchener’s Island
day 5
- A ride down the Nile on a traditional felucca begins just before lunch and continues overnight.
- Expect to sleep under the stars on the traditional boat
Day 6
- Spend the morning exploring Luxor
- In the afternoon, explore Karnak Temple
- Visit the local NGO to learn about the work they do to care for the wounded working animals in the region
Day 7
- Explore Colossi of Memnon – two 17-metre-high statues on Luxor’s west bank
- Take a guided tour through the Valley of the Kings, where there are more than 60 richly-decorated tombs of Pharaohs
- Join a local family for lunch to try some traditional home cooking
- Overnight train back to Cairo
Day 8
- Farewell breakfast where our trip comes to an end

Pricing
The price is $1,700 which will go directly to our tour company, Intrepid. Intrepid will provided the tour guide and is responsible for booking hotel rooms, tickets, activities, etc for the group throughout the trip.
